Continuing my entry on SixLives- campaigned for “Speak Good English”…

First praise on its story written in a blog style*** the story has somehow captivated my attention, continuing episode after episode. The unconventional writing style engages me into their story, drawing me as one of their friends instead. The 2nd praise is awarded to the comments and views posting on each blog entry. This creates interaction between the authors and readers too. A refreshing idea for new generation novelist and writers!

Speak "Good English" Campaign

Recently, I came across an article that is using blogs to promote the “Speak Good English” campaign on Today. Today papers have invited our famous Mr Brown to promote this campaign. (For those who are wondering- yes it’s the blogger whose blog was once closed for containing satire entries abt Singapore politician figures.)

Out of curiosity, I went on to check out how Mr Brown leads on the campaign. Interestingly, Mr Brown was one of the writers for sixlives.sg, an online drama whose episodes synopsis were written in the form of blog entries. A relatively new concept indeed – since blog has replaced our book diaries. Comments and views are welcome from readers, adding spices to this whole story indeed. Let me read the entries synopsis before I share more of it with you guys. That’s all for now.

Playing with army helmets and Japanese wooden sword

Was at my dear’s house yesterday afternoon…. His elder sister was pulling out her old rags and rugs from the storeroom when chubchub, my naughty bunny slipped into his “favourite hunt out” with the door ajar. While catching him out, my eyes caught his army gadgets and I started playing with his helmet.

It was a greenish bulky metal scrap but it looks cute, I imagine that is what aliens wore when they come down to earth… given that earth is heavily forested, they can camouflaged themselves well under any brushes.

I squeezed my head into that darn bulky metal scrap, to which it weighs down heavily my head as it rest on my little skull. What a stupid design from the SAF??? Such heavy scrap should be incinerated long ago man! Dunno how the hell it survives till today.

Next, he brought out any piece of guy’s wonderment – a wooden Japanese sword! He demonstrated ways of grabbing this “long bamboo stick” and ways of attacking swashing it back and forth.

Caught me in the picture? Whahaha I look super funny, don’t I :P

Whahahha fun time at home!

My 25th Birthday Celebration

I celebrated my 25th birthday last Sat. Hitting on the number 25, i began to feel that i have aged. My spirit has futher been dampened by the tremedous stress at work. That very morning, i wake up feeling just like any other days in my life.

Despite the low spirit in me, i still doll myself up. Afterall, it had been another of my "BIG"day. Doning myself in a pinkish tight tunic, it made me more cheerful and young.

On my way to meet my dar dar, i wondered the surprises that lies ahead. A person who hates to be kept in suspense, this conjured up mixed feeling of anticipation and annoyance.

He had instructed me to meet him at city hall mrt at 1145, but turn up tardily only at 12.05. However, the bouquet of sunflowers he was holding on had saved him from being screamed at. whahahaa :P (flowers always had a touch of magic)

The 1st surprise had been a K-Box singing with Michelle and her baby!!! I am delighted having been my 1st time celebrating birthday at K-Box. It had been nearly 1/2 yr since my last time to k Box and the session had allowed me to sing my hearts out!

Dinner was at a fine dining Italian restaurant in Harding Road. The restaurant had a cute fiction name -The white rabbit. Reminds me of my darling bibi!!!!

The ambience was warm and romantic. Perhaps because it had been converted from an old chapel. The entrance to the resturant was the 1st to amaze me, having beautiful walkway door build from a canopy of leaves and branches. Perfect for brides to walk through!!!

Main course : Curried Black Cod.

dar dar at the resturant .

The food was very nice. I love it. hehe but freaking exp. So perhaps only will return if we celebrate some big occassions again.
