First few days at work- Tanjong Pagar

Having been taking bus no 133 to work for the past year, i was blown away by the morning rush of commuters taking train. Caught amid the crowd, i felt short of breath while the train reached City hall interchange, a stop from my boarding station before.

Lunch time at Tanjong pagar was a nightmare come by. Swamps of office workers were seen everywhere at the cafes and food courts, leaving you with 3 options - takaway, wait for an empty table or lunch at a higher end restaurant. Rushing back to office? then consider the tabao option ba!

After work hours on Friday beat the best of the crowd condition. Swarms of eager office workers were seen waiting along the platform area to board the trains. I was caught in the rush crowd and had to wait for at least 3 trains come by before i managed to squeeze myself onto that "pack container". These commuters are often inconsiderate and impatient, my advice is to push your luck in as much as possible, even at the expense of stepping on pple's shoes. Or else u can have fun waiting until the crowd clears, which is impossible!

My god, i miss the days where i used to avoid the fierce crowd of people, getting on empty buses back home

Meals so hard to swallow

Eating out is getting more expensive these days. Typical lunch plate which cost around $2.50 consisted of 2 vege and 1 meat with generous portion a year ago. Today, the same dishes might costs you between $2.80-$3.00. And, what's worst is the shrink in portions. A $3.00 meal is considered one of the lowest range, which might leave you with a half-filled stomach. The choice is yours, pay more to fill up your hungry stomach or leave filling half empty. Our daily expenses is rising but why is there no increment in our Salary? Is this justificable?? Does it mean that we do not have to eat or simply eat lesser, spent lesser or go on long diet?
Employers do not seem to under the reason on demanding higher salary. Instead they are always trying to lower what is offered to us. Y is this so? Is it because they can hire cheaper foreign talents, hence do not agree on the salary we expects? Cant they work on the maths and be reasonable while doing the hiring? What to do when you live in SG

An Ugly Side of People

I was amazed at how Singaporeans react when people around them are in distress. The heavy downpour last Wednesday left shop owners helpless and stressed when their shops was hit by floods, leaving their goods floating away into the streets along Orchard Road. And i was caught by surpise while reading this article about shoppers and passer-bys grabbing goods that bobbed on the knee high muddy water. Items include electronic items, fashion accessories etc. These Singaporeans show an ugly side of human nature. How amazing.....

He must be thinking how stupid my present watch is….. no numbering hence this princess watch comes with nice numeric on its face, clearly indicating every hour of the day. Lovely watch
